A Roof Survey Put Right...
One of the local estate agents we work for, Duncan Raistrick, called us at Fylde Roofing to perform a roof survey for their client that was selling their home in Blackpool.
Their potential buyer had paid for a RICS homebuyer report and the surveyor recommended that they request a reduced selling price, this was due to the surveyor noting light being visible through the slates near the chimney and the front bay holding a large amount of water.
It didn't take long for us to find and solve the problems on the roof noted by the surveyor, there was a single slipped slate resting in the back gutter of the chimney and the internal drain pipe of the bay roof was blocked. After solving these issues, securing a couple of slipped slates and patch pointing the ridges, the roof was as good as new!
The buyer was then left with no worries about the roof and agreed to pay the full asking price, leaving both parties happy.
